I am honored that you elected me to be Ohio’s 31st Auditor of State. I am the first certified public accountant to serve as Ohio’s Auditor of State and as your Auditor I promise to continue my fight to make our state government more efficient and effective.

With 833 employees – 691 of whom are auditors – the Ohio Auditor’s Office is one of the largest accounting offices in the nation. Our staff is dedicated to serving the taxpayers with the highest levels of accountability, integrity and professionalism.

I will make the Auditor of State’s Office the ultimate taxpayer watchdog, insisting that we take a hard look at the tens of billions of tax dollars spent every year. Wasted tax dollars don’t create jobs. They don’t protect the vulnerable. They don’t improve Ohio’s economy. And, wasted tax dollars don’t guarantee our children a better future.

I know that I can count on you to join me in the fight to make our state government a better servant of the people who fund it. It is my honor to lead this fight as your Auditor of State.
